WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

With the support of the Chad WHO country office, forty people were invited to participate in a negotiation workshop. CMG put together a guide that will be distributed to all country offices to assist them. The guide will include a strategy for mobilizing the resources necessary to put on the workshop.

CHINA
In collaboration with the Foreign Affairs College, Beijing, and the University of Montana, CMG conducted a pilot workshop for both Chinese and American diplomats in China in October, 1999.  This unique program, the first of its kind, incorporated both interest-based negotiation methodology and traditional Chinese statecraft into a common framework for resolving differences.

INDONESIA

In April of 2000, CMG traveled to Ambon, Indonesia to conduct a diagnostic survey for Mercy Corps International (MCI). The purpose of the diagnostic visit was to determine how CMG might be helpful to MCI as they implement their relief activities in the war torn region of the Maluccus Islands.

MOMENTUM PILOT PROGRAM - ARMENIA

The Momentum Program aims to assist young Armenians of promise
in acquiring the negotiation and management skills necessary for a more democratic and prosperous Armenia that can hold its place in
the world politically and economically.

The Momentum Pilot Progam took place in Cambridge, MA in April 2000, and the main program is scheduled to start in the fall of 2000.
